If you are a man seeking man kind of guy or a gay woman searching for a lesbian lover or even somebody looking for their first bisexual or tg experience then pridedating.com might be the perfect site for you to check out.  Of all of the gay hookup sites out there pridedating.com seems to be a bit different.

Although you most certainly can use the site just like you use other sites for example: gay friend finder, just to find a hookup here is a quote from their site that explains a bit of what they are about:

This site features all of the latest technology like cell alerts, video, IM, and chat.  You can check out what they have to offer for free and set up your profile and contact people with the free membership.  Not all sites will allow you to do these things without upgrading…that’s pretty cool! You can even video chat for free.


Even if you decide to use pridedating.com like a man seeking man, gay hookup site like gay friend finder you will undoubtedly notice that they too have all of the different scenes like hot gay beef, studs, gay black men, or whatever else you are into.

While I was checking out their site I found that the interface was very user friendly however some of the pages did tend to load a bit slow.  This might be a good thing though if it is slow due to a ton of people using the service but more than likely it is from my ISP being slow.

One other thing that I found encouraging about pridedating.com is that they want to receive ideas from their users about how to improve the site.  This tells me that this gay dating site will continue to evolve and not get stale.  Feedback is always a positive thing.

All in all I think that pridedating.com is best used if you are looking for a relationship and those other man seeking man, gay hookup sites like gay friend finder and outpersonal.com (one of my favorites) are better used for a quick hookup.

Gay Personals Turned Up A Notch.

This site is pretty much the same idea as outpersonals.com in the layout concept of the site and its’ functions.  Although it has a more adult content and adult feel to it.


Adultfriendfinder.com is a more adult oriented site than outpersonals.com .  The pictures of members seem to be a bit more explicit.  That is alright though.  The home page itself is very user friendly and is not overly cluttered.

If you go to the “browse” button you can short cut the regular search engine to browse through a list of gay personals by category.  I love this feature!  You can go directly to a category such as, gay couples (two guys) seeking men, and see that there are three hundred and seventy listings for in the state of Michigan.  If you were to click on the link you can either view all of the listings or “drill down” (further narrowing your browsing) by clicking on another search category box…. very cool!

As far as the regular gay personals search button goes, adultfriendfinder.com has one of the best searches engines on a gay dating, gay personals site that I have seen.  If you sign up for the Gold membership (I highly recommend this level) you can access a crazy extensive search form.  You can search for anything from exhibitionism, and voyeurism, to travel partner, to education level, to body type, to whether or not they like to swap, to length and width of their penis.  You can even have matches emailed to you.  Another cool thing about the personals section, is that you can have a voice or video introduction.

If you are into joining groups. There is a world group section.  The groups are broken down by countries first, and then further thereafter.  There seems to be a little bit of everything under the sun in the groups category.  You will find anything from first timers to bi guys.  For some reason there seems to be a whole lot of orgy activity in my area…. who knew?

You can also create your own network and hot list, but I must say my favorite thing about this site has to be the unique idea of the magazine.  The Adultfriendfinder’s magazine content is provided by the members of adultfriendfinder.com.   The articles are unique and interactive.

If you are into blogs check out the blog section.  There are some interesting ones.

Oh, I almost forgot about the “shop” button and the “get local” button.  I guess they are worth mentioning only because they are there.  The shop area in my opinion is nothing special.  It has pretty much your usual DVDs, toys, lubes, and lotions.  The get local area has a clickable map of your area and displays members, groups, blogs, recently submitted magazine articles and advice, in your region.  Ok, I suppose that is kind of cool.

Overall the site is simple to navigate, not too busy has wonderful search capabilities (especially for the gold members).  Be sure to check out the magazine.  It is a really unique and interesting feature.  Again I love the fact that the site is not cluttered with ads and visuals, especially when you get further into the site there are not any.

A bit more gay explicitness is fine, unless your prudish.

Outpersonals.com has at the time of this review, around 1.5 million worldwide members.  The first pictures of members you will seem to be a bit more graphic.  That is alright though, unless you are a bit prudish.The home page itself is very user friendly and is not overly cluttered.

Gayfriendfinder.com is pretty much the same format as outpersonals.com and adultfriendfinder.com , only with what I believe to be  a focus on friendship, not nescessarily long term or sexual relationships.  The format is similar but the search criteria is not as defined.  So for an easy review I am going to reprint the outpersonal review and substitute the links with gayfriendfinder.com links.  Keep in mind that not everything included in the outpersonal.com site is necessarily included in the gayfriendfinder.com site.  They are similar with suddle differences.

Gayfriendfinder.com in my opinion is a more timid outpersonal.com .  That is alright though, a gay man can never have too many friends.  The home page itself is very user friendly and is not overly cluttered.
